On the eve of the 100 days in office milestone, President Donald Trump claims he is both a nationalist and a globalist

quote [ Trump: Chance of 'major, major conflict' with North Korea/Trump tough on South Korea: Threatens to terminate free trade deal, wants payment for THAAD missile defense system ]

The many faces of Donald Trump. I know I said don't listen to what he says just watch what he does..but I'm getting dizzy and now he say...I'm two, two mints in one.

bbqkink said[1] @ 8:45pm GMT on 28th Apr
No this is not new I have been fighting it all of my life. You can trace almost all of the destruction to one time and one election, 1980. With the election of Reagan the country changed..you can see this in almost any chart you chose, on almost any topic you can see trends change at that time.

Ronald Reagan Republican 489 43,901,812
Jimmy Carter (I) Democratic 49 35,483,820

This landslide ass whipping changed politics as well. It brought on the third way Democrat whose only motivation has been to stay in power. and brought on that "incrementalism." you spoke of. inching ever more towards the ecnomic interest that fueled an ever increasing cost to running for office.

The problem I have is that your wing of the political spectrum act like the Democrats are you enemy. They are not, they are soldiers on your side in the war, admittedly not very good of ones, and some are down right aiding the enemy bought of with money and power. You all seem to ignore that there really is an enemy, an enemy who has been spending time and money to make your vote irrelevant...an enemy who always votes.

Lesser Evils ...not this time. Trump is far worse than that and Clinton at least said she was on your side. You all seem to greatly overestimated the number of votes are on your side. I have been at this a long time and know you need to widen your net if you want to get elected. You don't have to let the 3rd way lead but you do have to accommodate them.

Trump is far worse for this country that Reagan was. The injuries have not even started to bled yet.

"we are literally talking about survival now"

Well can the environment take another 4 years of this?
So, let’s take a closer look at what he’s done this far, and what it will mean for our health and our world.

A few thousand more votes against Trump would have at least stopped what is now coming.

And the environment is one of the many things that will be under attack. And more people awakened due to the pain and fear they feel may help in 2018 or 2020...but by then the damage will be done.

And about the weed... get your own. I expect that crazy ass AG to come busting through my door any day now I am stockpiling....

The way I see it, the critical test for our system will come late next year. The billionaire great-maker in the Oval Office has already turned out to be an incompetent buffoon, and his greatest failures are no doubt yet to come. By November 2018, the winds of change will be in full hurricane shriek, and unless the Democratic Party’s incompetence is even more profound than it appears to be, the D’s will sweep to some sort of mid-term triumph.

But when “the resistance” comes into power in Washington, it will face this question: this time around, will Democrats serve the 80% of us that this modern economy has left behind? Will they stand up to the money power? Or will we be invited once again to feast on inspiring speeches while the tasteful gentlemen from JP Morgan foreclose on the world?

The Democrats' Davos ideology won't win back the midwest
Thomas Frank

Even he knows the only way out of this is through the Democratic party. He also said vote for Hillary to avoid Trump. Why won't you understand that the path you and a lot like you have chosen is going to kill innocent people, make it harder for working families, poison the environment, block reforms through the judiciary, and generally make the world a worse place...and to know it all could have been prevented.

Here this might help to separate the good guys from those who only want to hold onto power.

What he has done in this first 100 days will set back progressive achievements years already...his rolling back of regulations, putting people in charge of agencies that want to destroy them agencies effect our every day lives will have a cumulative effect for years.

But putting a far right oligarch on the SCUTUS will be thorn in progressives sides for a generation and will block any attempt for reform...hard to overstate the damage this has done.

And if that isn't enough to give you chills.....He reminded the nation that 1 May was Loyalty Day.

The day is a US tradition dating back to the cold war, when it was a bolster to stop May Day becoming a rallying point for socialists and unionised workers, but for an embattled president learning politics on the job it has an added resonance.
