Another conspiracy is falling apart in the light of day. but this time the right is trying desperately to hold on to it

quote [ FBI releases Carter Page surveillance warrant documents...The FISA warrant that was issued and renewed multiple times for Page was the subject of the memo written by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes that charged the FBI abused its surveillance powers. ]

This shows that there was a lot of evidence to show Page was a counterintelligence threat and more than probable cause for a warrant...4 times.

This is a big deal simply for the fact that none of us have ever seen a FISA warrant. And although no spook would ever want the FISA process exposed in this case I think it is a good thing.

With all of attacks the process has been under it is important to show how thorough and precise the whole thing actual is. This one is over 400 pages and was renewed with new information 3 times, and was signed off on by a judge each time.

But The right starting with Trump just doesn't want to let this go...

Andrew McCarthy - “I said this could never happen. This is so bad that they should be looking at the judges who signed off on this stuff, not just the people who gave it. It is so bad it screams out at you.” On the whole FISA scam which led to the rigged Mueller Witch Hunt!

I don't know if because this was a last ditch effort that they just don't want to let go of or the fact that it brings the Steele dossier back into the conversation.

The even had Lindsey Graham out there.

“If the dossier is the reason you issued the warrant, it was a bunch of garbage,” Graham said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “The dossier has proven to be a bunch of garbage.”

Even though what the release of this warrant shows that although the FBI was aware of the dossier it was NOT the basis of the investigation and once again shows Devin Nunes' memo on Carter Page is bullshit just like every other thing he has done in relation to the Russia investigation.

And despite Sen. Graham's or Trump's opinion

.@PeteHegseth on @FoxNews “Source #1 was the (Fake) Dossier. Yes, the Dirty Dossier, paid for by Democrats as a hit piece against Trump, and looking for information that could discredit Candidate #1 Trump. Carter Page was just the foot to surveil the Trump campaign...” ILLEGAL!

The Steele Dossier. has not been disproven in fact some of it has been proven and NONE OF IT has been disproven. And the main contention that trump campaine was colluding with the Russian Government goes stronger every day.

The FISA applications accuse Carter Page of being 'an agent' of Russian intelligence, engaged in criminal activities.

What it actually does is say that there is enough evidence to start an investigation, and it was a counterespionage one not a criminal one.

Yet Page has never been arrested or charged as a spy.

He is next one "in the barrel" within 30 days at this pace.

Also, the FBI's FISA warrant actually cites "evidence" to spy on Carter Page/Trump campaign, "Senate Minority Leader" Harry Reid's 2016 letter to Comey citing information he got from John Brennan–– who got it from the Clinton dossier

Yes 3 Fisa judges, the Director of the FBI, director of the CIA, the acting attorney general, and over 50 case offices ALL worked on this 400+ page document and subsequent investigation...that is steadily putting people in jail and taking them to trial...trails that are now starting to get under way.

This is really odd, because Trey Gowdy is a total party-over-country hack.
Menchi said @ 4:01am GMT on 23rd Jul
Well, that's easily reconcilable. Gowdy's cutting him loose because Gowdy has concluded that he'd drag the party down in the impending fallout, rather than for all the damage he's done to the nation.

Reporters did not find any evidence connecting the Russian, Anna Bogacheva, to the Veles sites. Arsov denies any links to Russia.

I'll wait for the FBI and CIA to weigh in before I make my judgment.

Our ruling
Trump said the Steele dossier "was responsible for starting" Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into links between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The Steele dossier did not trigger Mueller’s investigation. It was information from Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos that set the probe in motion. Also, Mueller did not take up the investigation until roughly a year after the triggering event.

We rate this False.

I agree..

Trumps approval rating: it's bad

Trumps approval rating among Republicans is unusually high

Trumps job approval rating are stable

All True...what is not stated

In Gallup's most recent analysis, 42 percent of Americans identify as independent, compared with 29 percent who say they are Democrats and 26 percent who say they are Republicans.

And his rating are historically low...never has been above water...always been negative.

Party identification as Republican has also dropped since 2016 (the lowest it's been since 1980; the all-time low was after Watergate). Guess some of them decided to... WalkAway.
