A little bit of an older post from May of this year - 2017’s Most & Least Federally Dependent States
Just checking out some stuff on my home state of California - California provides 13% of the total federal budget. Second and third place Texas and New York each total some 65%. California also contributes $13 billion more than it receives back from the federal government. And we are one of the five states least dependent on the federal government.

After what he pulled un South Australia they'd be mad not to go with ol' Musky. He's proven he can do big, unique electrical and civil jobs very quickly. The whole clean energy is good optics what with hurricanes and global warming too.
