Puerto Rico’s utility cancels controversial contract with Montana firm to repair electric grid

Just checking out some stuff on my home state of California -

California provides 13% of the total federal budget. Second and third place Texas and New York each total some 65%. California also contributes $13 billion more than it receives back from the federal government. And we are one of the five states least dependent on the federal government.
