Contract law. The problem is apparently not the number of people in the relationship, although I am a 1 partner kind of guy and ...I don't judge other arrangements but they are sure not for me, it does seem to me that some sort of arrangement could be arrived at which assures that all parties know what the fuck they are doing.
Please, do not get me wrong, putting an arrangement on paper not only does not guarantee that all parties will read and understand its terms, but in my professional experience, it pretty much assures that nobody will read anything. But it's really all you can do.
