I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! Witch Hunt

quote [ ā€œIā€™m growing increasingly concerned that the president will attempt to fire not only Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating possible obstruction of justice, but also Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein who appointed Mueller,"

Sen. Dianne Feinstein ]

I wasn't convinced that there was fire under all this smoke...I am now.

To fire Robert Mueller Trump would either have to fire Rod Rosenstein or change the law...either of which he can do.

So, Will President* Trump Just Fire Everyone?

Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller are under threat.

The surrogates are already floating the idea.

Roger Stone: Trump should fire Robert Mueller, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein

And even doing something as serious as this manages to shoot him self in the foot and admit he is under investigation...

"The law" is by presidential order. he can change it he likes. Only trouble that looks even more "suspicious" than firing people until he gets on he likes. Either way if this is his plan he is betting for cover from the house Republicans...this is way beyond the Saturday Night Massacre .

But your guess is a good as mine trying to figure out what he does next. If he is innocent of collusion and money laundering he is the absolute dumbest man to ever sit behind that desk, because the case for obstruction is prima facie even from what we have seen in the papers. If he is innocent if gives new meaning to the story about the cover up and the crime.
