I just think that it’s weird it doesn’t apply in the reverse.
When John Legend said his tatement why is it a specific attack at Trump instead of a statement about the GOP in general? Does that only go one way?
I don’t think the Democratic Party is the best party for African Americans. I believe the party that ridicules the statement “black lives matter” is the worst for that group though.
So between the party that will ‘lie’ to them about helping them (but at the same time support/offer up/elect a black man?) and the party that says racism is dead, all of a race’s problems are their fault (bootstraps!), and has outright reinvigorated the KKK... who are they supposed to vote for?
Millionaires unaffected by a racist’s policy being trotted out as ‘proof’ of a coming racial tidal wave is not as strong an argument as you might think.
