I did actually. I'm more fond of the takes provided by Geraldo a fortnite ago and Jordan Peterson last week on his show. To paraphrase Geraldo; that it is not healthy to demonize the President and Peterson's followup to do the same to his supporters.
I got where Maher was coming from; it is unthinkable to him and his primary audience that any influential personality would support Trump. It is a wide expansion of Alinsky's 13th rule. But the targets are becoming too numerous.
On a related note, Kanye is of course taking a lot of flak because the worst possible nightmare for the Democratic party is for black America to wake up:
