Thanks Obama

quote [ Obama’s Final Numbers
Statistical indicators of President Obama's eight years in office. ]

When he walked in the door the place was on fire...all in all not a bad job.

Somebody asked in an earlier thread if you and i wanted to get a room after I commented on one of your post. And I think it was guilt by association you seem to be a trouble maker.

Oh I'm not telling you how to feel I'm saying I have seen all this before.

“The Navy and Air Force could have been there Sunday,” Ret. Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré said Thursday to NBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “Could have opened the port, could have opened the air field. Why the hell has it taken this long to do that? That is what we do in the military.” “There’s something missing in the decision-making process,” he said. “[The cabinet should’ve] come up with a course of action and [called] the president off the damn golf course.”

Trump today Said that he wouldn't rest until PR was safe the got on air force 1 to go to his golf club for 3 days where I'm sure he won't rest. The same day he fires a cabinet member for stealing jet rides to go on vacations. The same week he unveils a much heralded Tax plan that is slap in the face of his base.

I'm a populist and although not like the populist on your side of the isle I am a populist. And I know a populist should just about lose their mind on this.

"Congressional Republicans may also find it hard to sell to their party’s populist wing on a tax plan heavily tilted toward slashing taxes for corporations and the wealthy. The big-spending conservative group Americans for Prosperity, backed by the billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch, is gearing up to spend millions to back the GOP tax overhaul. Yet large percentages of Republican voters favor raising corporate tax rates, not lowering them, and a majority think that taxes for those earning $250,000 a year should either stay the same or be raised."

Republican leaders are reeling from their primary loss in Alabama and the demise of their health-care bill, but they have only themselves—and their big donors—to blame.
