Look everybody knows you boil a hot dog...seriously..a microwave turns them into leather..ughh!

Well BBQ and grilling are two different things..one cooks at high heat 500 to 600 degrees and the other @ 225 to 250. so there is that.
I have to admit a dog with a little char is hard to beat...bit of a pain in the ass to start a fire in the winter to cook one though. |

I mean not everyone has a grill. You can also broil them in the oven.

Yeah, but it is much harder in my opinion and when I'm turning to hot dogs easy is probably part of it.

Flame grilling is the best way to cook a hot dog, but heating them up in a toaster oven is also good. You can also stab them a bunch of times then boil them to remove a lot of the salt.

Normally I don't side with the gun-toting crazy person, but geez, being told you can't boil a hot dog and had to microwave it? He has my sympathy ... unless I suppose if he had previously been a dick and not washed up the pot afterwards and therefore had his hotdog boiling privileges suspended.
