quote [ “Yes, this is really happening. I’m becoming president.” ]

Well finally, a way for the media to cover Trump.

SNL has been a mixed bag over the years but I like what they're doing with Trump. Really head-on subversion, and the fact that he gets so personally irritated by it is just the icing on the cake.

Besides this will probably reach many more people than any news story would.

But all the Russia stuff aside I think this stuff is what will bring him down...pure greed and ego...won't be able to stop.

Incoming White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus warned the head of the Office of Government Ethics on Sunday to “be careful” in his criticisms of President-elect Donald Trump.

OGE Director Walter Shaub last week panned Trump’s plan to address his business conflicts as “meaningless,” marking the second time the director called on the president-elect to fully divest his assets before he assumes the presidency this week.

I thought they had just exhausted sketch comedy until I ran across Mitchell & Webb. Then I realized that no, it was a problem with SNL and its cast, writing, etc.

I think it just comes off a lot like the Capitol Steps, that "comedy" group that NPR stations trot out on holidays; it's a bunch of people trying way too hard to make their audience "get it."

If the Republicans in Congress won't do the right thing for workers, we must advance the progressive agenda state by state.

For the next two years this is were the battle will be waged. The war in DC will be to stop the right's agenda, in the states progressives can advance real law.
