How One Disabled Player Convinced Naughty Dog To Add More Accessibility Options To Uncharted 4

quote [ You might not have dug into Uncharted 4's extensive set of accessibility features, but for fans with disabilities, they’re incredibly important. The reason Uncharted 4 has so many is thanks to a fortuitous meeting at GDC. ]

This is so baller I can't even. It took me over 6 weeks after I came out of my coma to be able to hold my iPad, and to help motivate me to continue to work on my motor skills, my dad brought in my xbox 360 and tv from my apartment. The game I retrained my motor skills back in on? Dark Souls. Git Gud, indeed.

Anyways, ever since then I've been super interested in gaming for the disabled.

Here's a link to the blog that reviews games for people with disabilities: http://www.dagersystem.com/ Pretty cool stuff.

Oh, and if you own a PS4, you really should play Uncharted 4, it's fucking brilliant.

Also of interest, but unrelated, was this: http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/a20920/app-solve-math-problems-paper-whiteboard/

Mathpix is an iOS app that solves handwritten math problems (including calculus!) by snapping a photo of them. It also shows the graph if applicable and it shows the work necessary to solve the problem. It's a homework buster, and that's awesome because busy work is stupid.

I am constantly amazed by the wealth and breadth of experience of those in our community! And how it comes out with such modesty.
