My friends and I grew up with SCTV and stuff like "Dead Men Don't wear Plaid".
We designated one fountain in our high school for "Friends of Carlotta" A friend did a regular count Floyd performances that turned into rockabilly in our school assemblies (that were so good on the music side he eventually recorded in Graceland) Joe was with us through all of that and if Joe had been watching my friend would have "Blowed up - real good" Gilda, John C, John B, Rick Moranis, and now the Count. Goddamn. |
