Good to know that we are not the first generation of idiots. I make my own bread bowl for my spinach dip on my grill now, but I will never forget buying a beautiful, and expensive, loaf at Panera. I was getting my wallet out just in time to see the girl behind the counter slice it.

I buy my bread from a local bakery that uses a wood fired oven and I have to slice it myself. What an inconvenience!
