How US govt-funded media fueled a violent coup in Nicaragua

quote [ To support the media ecosystem it sought to establish in Nicaragua, USAID channeled money through an entity run by Nicaragua’s most powerful oligarchic family, the Chamorro Foundation.

Among the most prominent recipients of the millions USAID plowed through the Chamorro Foundation was the opposition media outlet 100% Noticias. ]

Hmm, why does all this sound familiar? Oh, right.

AMLO Blasts U.S. Support for Mexico NGOs Before Call With VP - Bloomberg

Which again is totally unrelated to AMLO's recent attempts to nationalize Mexico's Lithium mines he was forced to pull back on.

Hmm, how did a fascist like Bolsanaro get elected anyway? Oh, right.

Leaked chat logs show that Brazilian prosecutors evaded treaties to help the U.S. Justice Department investigate Brazilian corporations.

Oh, right.

Any time you hear "civil society groups" what you are hearing is "contract coup plotters". The funding for "democratic opposition groups" is on the way, and pretty soon POOF, Syria and Venezuela.
