Trump's Mar-a-Lago neighbors are taking legal action to try to force him to live elsewhere

quote [ The president is said to be planning to move to Mar-a-Lago permanently when he leaves the White House on January 20. Some of his neighbors, however, have written a letter to Palm Beach authorities and the US Secret Service saying that Trump has no legal right to live there full time.

The Post said it obtained a copy of the letter, in which it says the neighbors mentioned an agreement that Trump signed in 1993 when he sought to turn what had been a residence into a private club.

Under the terms of the agreement, no guest is permitted to stay at the club for more than "three non-consecutive seven day periods" during one year. ]

Just another example of how he has spent his entire life. Even with all the publicity, he just goes ahead and ignores an agreement he has made.

Well, I guess when breaking the rules seems to matter to his lifestyle, he'll change.

The article has the "official reason," but I would really not be surprised if they are more worried that he's just going to take it over, surround it with various nazi and klan groups, and tries to start civil-war part 2 after renaming mar-a-lago as "the real white house."

Craziness - I wonder how Steele is doing...he's in the eye of the storm down there.

Trumper assholes who refuse to wear masks and more of them on the bridges over I-4 with banners. Everything is pretty much wide open for business and for all their talk about believing in science there are plenty of democrats out there who think they can live their life as normal as long as they wear a mask. Dems going to disney world and other theme parks with their RBG or Kamala masks is some massive Okay, Karen Boomer energy.

I've seen enough thin blue line mickey stickers to know Disney idiocy unites oblivious idiots from all groups.

Have you seen the fucking challenge coins?🤯
Disney challenge coins are real. Here's the story behind them

It's more than just Disney though. My social media feed is gradually separating into archetypal-like classes like one of those science experiments demonstrating the density of oil, water, and detergent or whatever.

You've got the Red MAGA folks (Small business owners sometimes WFH office workers, Masks are bullshit, out at the bars, Trump didn't lose, Qanon, Biden isn't the real pres, the vaccine is a fraud, etc).

The Blue MAGA back to brunch crowd (WFH office workers sometimes small business owners, DeSantis is a monster for opening everything but I'm going to take full advantage and I don't have to worry about it as long as I wear a mask, how dare you criticize Biden, I support local small businesses, how dare you criticize Obama for criticizing BLM, MOSCOW MITCH! PELOSI SLAY! etc).

And then you've got the poor people who can't afford not to work and are often front line service or hospitality industry and they're sometimes leaning towards one of the above MAGAs (usually red) OR (and I feel with them very strongly on this) are flat out losing their minds (WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, PEOPLE? STAY HOME! WHERE ARE OUR STIMULUS CHECKS? DID THE NEW YORK POST JUST DOXX AN EMT FOR HAVING AN ONLYFANS? WTF!)

About the only thing they all agree on is that Baby Yoda has a dumb name though. So there's your Disney unity. ;)

Considering trump did win and fucked over nearly everyone in the country i would guess most people are hurting in the butt, regardless of who they supported.

If Europe could have three Popes at once, you can have two Presidents.

Trump. The Antipresident.

If Trump is the Antipresident, does that make Biden the antidepressant?

I seem to recall that Florida law protects your main residence in matters of bankruptcy or judgement. Might be part of this move and why the kids have suddenly bought very expensive properties there.

Yes, though I've been informed that they probably don't qualify due to certain timeframe requirements on that law. It's entirely possible they don't realize that.
