The Big and the Small (and the things that are bigger or smaller than both of them)

quote [ If we could walk around on top of our US-size Milky Way, we wouldn't see very much. Most stars would be invisible to the naked eye. ]

An infographic about really big and small things. I wanted a distraction from thinking about the ordinary-sized problems around me, but this was even more terrifying.

The sparseness of the Milky Way really shocked me.

I thought it was a long way to the drugstore, but that's just peanuts compared to space!

I have visitors in the fun room from time to time, but after a few minutes, they’re usually pretty funned out and leave me to my crises.

Ha, you're not the only one feeling strange.

I'm a sucker for this stuff, no matter how many times I see it.
