I Accidentally Uncovered a Nationwide Scam on Airbnb

Yet another reason why this company is bad news. No real vetting and a poor refund system means an open door policy to gangsters.

I don't think AirBNB will do a thing about this until the IPO and associated lockup are done.

This is a short-term gain hiding reputational damage and increasing likelihood of future regulation, neither of which the pre-IPO shareholders care about.
