quote [ Change in political playing field prompts update to protest guide ]
I don't join anything, but if here was a local chapter I would at least have to go to a meeting.
Here is the handbook
Indivisible on Offense: Introduction And here is the interview with one of the creators 'Indivisible' shifts to offense as Democrats retake some power And here is how you tell you are winning. Fox News Keeps Accidentally Giving Progressive Platforms Good Press Laura Ingraham tried to attack Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar. It backfired.

SCOTUS to hear case over census citizenship question
This will be a good test for the new court. This is obvious if you look at the constitution. It requires a count of all people living in the United States, whether they are citizens or noncitizens, whether they were born in the United States or in a distant part of the world. This vote should tell us quickly just what kind of court we have. |

Fox News Keeps Accidentally Giving Progressive Platforms Good Press
Laura Ingraham tried to attack Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar. It backfired. Why does that sound familiar? "It's like people keep posting his bullshit for him as free press..." -lilmookieesquire |

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named
a Taboo is placed upon the name, such that Voldemort or his followers may trace anyone who utters it. Grow the hell up he is the Republican nominee for president. He will actually get electoral votes unlike you know who. You act like the 100 or so people here on SE will make a difference in this election not the millions who watch him 24/7 on mainstream media this even though 1/2 of the folks here aren't even US citizens. |

I've been over and over this argument. The simple fact that not talking about the nominee for the Republican party on a small website like this one while the Networks cover his every word is going to some how change anything is laughable.

It's not about not talking about it, it's about understanding how narratives are constructed and how presenting information that you think is bad for your opponent can actually be helpful to them because you don't take into account your audience. One day you're claiming this is just another small website of no consequence (yet it's a public space that you can't cede to trolls!), another day you're claiming you might change somebody's vote and that would make it all worth it. Meanwhile, you spread the message of your own opponents with zero appreciation for who that message is actually reaching. In the other thread you yourself said you don't believe everyone agrees with you, and you're probably right. But that means you're likely not actually presenting an opposition they're going to give a shit about either. In reality, you're introducing them to the message of the troll and helping to confirm their own biases.
But again, according to you none of this matters, except for when it does. |
