Eight is great!

(and 10 mistrials instead of 10 'not guilties' is also very, very good)

Even the mistrials can be brought forth at sentencing...It looks like he is looking at about 5 years give or take. And this is just trial one. Another one starting this week. The question now is how much does Manafort want to spend on lawyers and what other options are open to him.

Pardon?
conception said @ 7:43pm GMT on 22nd Aug
A pardon is an admission of guilt. Doesn't matter to Trump but does matter.
bbqkink said @ 11:46pm GMT on 22nd Aug
Doesn't get him out of state trouble and takes away his 5th amendment protection.

Michael Cohen Says He Paid Off Woman Who Claimed Affair at Trump’s Direction Mr. Cohen made the admission as he pleaded guilty to tax evasion, bank fraud and campaign finance violations in federal court in Manhattan.

And an old phrase is reintroduced to our political lexicon.. .Unindicted Co Conspirator ....An unindicted co-conspirator, or unindicted conspirator, is a person or entity that is alleged in an indictment to have engaged in conspiracy, but who is not charged in the same indictment.

“Manchin even called Hillary warm, compassionate, engaging, tough ― can you believe that?” Morrissey asked.

The crowd immediately began repeating “Lock her up!” ― a common chant on the 2016 campaign trail as Trump branded his opponent “Crooked Hillary” and railed against her use of a private email server during her time in office.

Crowd Chants ‘Lock Her Up’ The Day Trump’s Former Aides Are Convicted Of Felonies The president’s West Virginia supporters attacked Hillary Clinton — hours after Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen were convicted of felony charges.

That's the dumbest excuse for a civil war I've ever heard. It even tops "but I want slaves" and "but I don't wanna pay my taxes on tea."
