Stephen Miller is an Immigration Hypocrite. I Know Because I'm His Uncle.

quote [ If my nephew's ideas on immigration had been in force a century ago, our family would have been wiped out. ]

We are all immigrants or of immigrant descend.

Are people descended from those brought here against their will still considered of immigrant descent?

How about the one who are descended from those who came here it it was unoccupied by anyone else?

Armed invaders who killed off the locals and took their land as opposed to joining their country?

Yes yes and yes. None of them were natives. But for purpose of this argument only those who came here after the 1880s are immigrants.

Thus, as the number of immigrants rose in the 1880s and economic conditions in some areas worsened, Congress began to pass immigration legislation. The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 and Alien Contract Labor laws of 1885 and 1887 prohibited certain laborers from immigrating to the United States.

immigrant - a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.

slaves din't come to a country, they were brought
natives din't come to a country, there has to be people there before it's a country
invaders destroy a country that was there first and replace it with a their own

slaves a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. well none of them left

they were brought

invaders destroy a country that was there first and replace it with a their own

they didn't go home either.
Spleentwentythree said @ 12:54am GMT on 14th Aug
so you're saying it's immigration even when it's involuntary?

invaders din't go home, they were already home in a country they made, not one they came too, what's was your point?

Every country is created that way. Even the ones that eventually get the pointy end of it.

That it doesn't mater how the people got here they are here. unless your skin is red we all immigrants, or decedents of immigrants ..including the white Christian Nationalist, whether they like it or not.

The people you are talking about are all long dead and they all got here from different means they all came from somewhere else.
Spleentwentythree said @ 11:11am GMT on 14th Aug
got it, the term immigrant has no significance in term of who we are descended from, rendering the phase "We are all immigrants or of immigrant descend." to be without merit or worthy of regard

Thank you for making that clear to me

"We are all immigrants or of immigrant descend."

Is an unvarnished fact. And I for one fell the truth is very much worth merit and worthy of regard...

Most daca recipients and dreamers were brought here involuntarily. Involuntarily as in not old enough to make that decision on their own or were just brought here.

I was going to say don't be hasty, that could be Smeagol, but Smeagol was the good side, so we know that's not possible.

Steve Miller is far more complex than Gollum / Smeagol. He has the joker, the smoker, the space cowboy, maurice, and the midnight toker. I'm not sure one is the evil side mentioned in this article though.
