quote [ [Microsoft] has already worked with the US government to foil Russian hacking attempts on three candidates... the hackers targeted the candidates’ staffers with the kind of phishing tactics used to inveigle their way into the Democratic National Committee servers in 2016: They set up a fake Microsoft domain and attempted to direct staffers towards it.
When asked yesterday if he believed Russia was interfering in the US midterms, Trump said: “No.” ] May one question someone's beliefs?

Is it treason to call our President an agent for a foreign power? Do I want to be treasonous? Don't worry your government will protect you. As an aside does this soften any ones thoughts about the gun nuts who want to keep the rights to guns for protection from our government?

And as we've seen over and over again (Waco, Ruby Ridge, Clive Bundy, etc), gun nuts are shit at actually standing up to the federal government, even when the feds are incompetent (Waco, Ruby Ridge, Clive Bundy, etc).

That ain't the 1/2 of it.This could have been the result at any time at any one of those incidents any time the government wanted or worse.

Going by what happened in Helsinki, it's past a foregone conclusion now that it's more about money laundering than about elections now. And it's probably deeper and darker than we could have remotely imagined at this this point. Thanks to Citizens United, the entire GOP is probably buried in dirty Russian money, and Trump has been beholden to that dirty money for years.
