Cosby found guilty

quote [ The jury in Bill Cosby's retrial found the TV icon guilty of all three counts of aggravated indecent assault on Thursday for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in a Philadelphia suburb in 2004.

The 80-year-old comedian faces up to 10 years in prison on each count, but would likely serve them concurrently. A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled, and he remains out on bail. ]

Cosby found guilty on all 3 counts.

I'm betting he doesn't do a day of jail time though. Between appeals and his age, I bet he kicks the bucket beforehand.

Damn it, Cos.

I heard he has completely lost his mind due to dementia? Wagering he probably doesn't even realize what's going on.

In a strange way, it's sort of like when they used to find one of those old Nazi war criminals who had to be treated like a toddler. Justice was served, but it would have been sweeter had it been done while they had all their marbles.

And I agree with Mythyn - he won't even see the inside of a jail cell.

At least the victims get recognition, that’s something.

If he's so familiar with drugs, maybe Cosby can run the VA

The Victoria and Albert museum? It's a long shot, but it might just work.

It's weird that it almost seems that powerful men on the liberal side are being brought down as a result of abusing women and powerful men who are conservative are being shamed for dallying with males. And that the latter group aren't nearly as affected by allegations of bad behaviour to women and vice versa for the liberals.

Bill Cosby, liberal?

I thought he is...maybe that's just the characters he's played.

Cosby is a complicated mix, a democrat, critical of conservative republican politicians, who nonetheless holds some very conservative opinions, especially socially conservative views regarding the African-American community.

I didn't do that much research so, "seems" was appropriate—it also points to a possible (and acknowledged) bias on my part. I also have no stake in this— I'm a monarchist from a bunch of other countries and what the USA does either makes me nod or shake my head...kind of like watching the kid next door find a novel solution or try to taste a piece of manure.

My understanding is that Clinton didn't drug the girl and that she was a willing if naïve participant. Also, my understanding is that she never felt taken advantage of or has forgiven Clinton so partisan outrage is irrelevant here.

Hell, I had to come back and add this. Your silence about the number of conservatives found in flagrante delicto with boys and animals whilst poking at liberals is interesting.

Sorry. I'm sure you posted a link there, maybe I'm having a technical problem.
