Get Ready! Mr. Putin ...Mr, Assad...did you hear me? Get ready.

quote [ With American strike intentions so clearly forecast by Mr. Trump, the Syrian government has moved key aircraft to the Russian base near Latakia, and is .... While Mr. Trump's tweet did not disclose the exact date and time of an American missile strike, Mr. Assad's allies are lining up to back the Syrian regime. ]

Ironically the best thing to do now is nothing. With all their weapons hid on Russian bases the smartest move let them sweat. There doesn't seem to be any real benefit of a strike unless you intend to eliminate their Air force and that would be impossible without killing at least a few Russians.

Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!

Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?

@realDonaldTrump

Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!

I don't know about that, but the description of chiipmunks in Kensington Gardens completely broke my immersion in Trinity. We don't have chiipmunks in the Britain. We very rarely move the sun around the sky, but mainly it was the chipmunks.

And in Kensington Gardens no less.

Preposterous.

In reality:

"Syria fires 40 missiles at nothing' after allied air strikes Assad chemical sites."

bbqkink said @ 12:48am GMT on 15th Apr
You could see that from the videos...fired several min. after strikes and the for some time after that.
4321 said[2] @ 1:02am GMT on 15th Apr

My point exactly.

But you keep posting things at odds with reality.

On this subject, along with posting absurd Russian claims, you're on about hw you "doubt this will do anything", and it is "doubtful it was effective", aside from a "few potholes".

In reality, they reduced the Syrian Scientific Research Centre to smoking rubble.
Which was precisely the aim.

How is it that you are so unanchored from reality?

C18H27NO3 said @ 7:16pm GMT on 15th Apr
That's rich. You complaining about reality and it's description. Surely a fauxnewz watcher.

At any rate, dumpster bombed last year after a chem attack and nothing happened. But hey, russia says the attack was staged and didn't happen. This new bombing will surely have an effect. Assad is scared of dumpster, and will now cease any chem weapons manufacture and use. Riiiiiiiight.

And it should be noted that pootin approved, or at least coordinated the russian military with UK, France and the US to avoid any conflicts with russian personnel. Pootin is buddies with assad, remember?

And really? After all the facts that have come out, you still deny russian involvement in the US?

Holy shit. Do you still believe in the tooth fairy?

Infrastructure destroyed or damaged is perhaps more important than hitting their aircraft.

Taking out key comms and other utilities rank higher. Taking out their supply chain of natural gas and petroleum is also high ranking. severely damaging their ports is also key.

Syria doesn't really have any aircraft that can stand up to anything the U.S., France or Britain throw at them. Yeah, it would be ideal to take out their ability to bomb their own people... And that will happen sooner or later.

That Russia is siding with a regime who is actively using chemical weapons is reprehensible.

Yeah, it would be ideal to take out their ability to bomb their own people...

That is all we could do...full stop. The attack is over now it looks like a punishment strike some chemical infrastructure some personnel some delivery power ....helicopter is would seem...yet to be seen if any of it was effective...doubtful.
King Of The Hill said @ 2:57am GMT on 14th Apr
Sorry... We could do much more if we chose to. This strike supposedly is twice the munitions as the last. Personally, we should level their ports, airfields and all gov't facilities. Using chemical weapons as they have warrants that and I say that as someone who is mostly against US interventions overseas. This is the exception. I'm glad we didn't go in alone.
bbqkink said @ 3:08am GMT on 14th Apr
Doubt this does anything, carried a big chance of negative results (Killing Russians and civilians) with nothing but a few potholes and a few destroyed buildings...may impede ability to make more Chem weapons for a few months max.

Only cost us a few billion to do a million dollars in damage.
HoZay said @ 5:32pm GMT on 14th Apr
The scope of the strike was most likely cleared with russia beforehand.
