Are there really any problems left once the nukes start flying?

It is"election" time the the Russian Federation. This is Putin saying "I do Great Military" to impress his base. Some of that show and tell (Florida) he put on was years old. There is no reason to believe Russia has this capability so far it is just rhetoric.
I think there is no doubt this is aspirational but no reason to think it is operational. They like North Korea have been working on this a long time. Of coarse if we had a president who at all concerned about this or at least concerned as he is about Alec Baldwin ...never mind we wouldn't be able to believe any thing he said especially about Russia. |

Can't suspend elections and declare martial law without a big enough crisis.

Decades ago, when the US was developing its nuclear-powered cruise missile called SLAM, the extremely lethal exhaust was considered to be a bonus feature, not a bug. The program was scrapped when we realized that if the missile failed in flight, exploded, or crashed while still in the country, it would be a serious problem. But - Russia has always been fine with that kind of stuff.
