years ago I had an idea for a story about an undercover cop infiltrating a crime ring in which every single member of the ring were undercover law enforcement from a variety of different police forces and agencies. I abandoned the idea because it seemed too ridiculous. but apparently it was prescient!

There is a running joke in gun owners circles that the crazy Militia camp people are all alphabet soup guys trying to get each other to be terrorist and there is just a few midlife crisist minivan dads trying to keep them all calm.
