More molesters being named and shamed

quote [ After years of unsubstantiated rumors about Louis C.K. masturbating in front of associates, women are coming forward to describe what they experienced. ]

I used to love him. But when he started defending Woody Allen his comedy stopped being abstract to me and he just came across as an arsehole. Seems he was just as much of a cunt in real life as he joked about being.

Bonus Roy Moore in extended

I'm glad that he openly admits it, at least, without blaming the women. That's...something. That's a start.

"Its a predicament for them." Fuck you, sir. What you did is not a 'predicament.' Its fucking sexual assault.

Part of me wonders if this confession is part of his...exposure fetish.

Maybe he'll turn it into a monologue. About how it feels to masturbate in front of women who don't want you to.
milkman666 said @ 10:04pm GMT on 10th Nov
He asked if he could take his cock out, they consented, so its ok. Well that's what he decided to hang his hat on. He knew that the answer would most likely be yes. He knew it was a fucked up thing to ask people when he got a "no" and he turned beet red and admitted he had a problem. He picked out his targets, he's a smart enough guy to both select those who would be vulnerable and then rationalize it as ok. He asked permission, they said yes. Because a no might mean their career, their future, the value of their word because they would not be believed. Because of the implication.

Did they even necessarily say yes? I thought they awkwardly laughed thinking it was a joke. He rounded that up to a yes.

That's a gonna one hell of a defense if theres a civil suit or charges are filed. "Females and gentlemen of the jury, my client is really only guilty of a rounding error. In what I consider to be an act of honesty, my client simply wanted to avoid misleading precision. "

I imagine even if they said yes, that the request is so outlandish, that they probably were just going along with what they assumed to be a joke and not serious. But thankfully, I wasn’t there.

He also has the right to sue in civil court post election.
milkman666 said @ 12:03am GMT on 11th Nov
Innocent until proven guilty. But that's just in regards to the court. The currency of politics is trust, and shares of Roy Moore are in heavy flux. Yes there are incidences of hoaxes , and it is a fucked up thing because of the knock on effects on legitimate cases. They tend to be outliers though.

Roy is in politics. The accusation is child molestation. There is never a good time for someone to be accused or to accuse someone of that, because of the nasty fights that ensue. The recent flare up in reports is because people feel safer because they don't feel so alone. Without that cover people are usually shamed into silence.

In that context, tossing out the idea that people are celebrating this as a great political boon, and that consequently they are as exploitative as child molesters is a bit fucked up. Because it wiffs of the kind of shenanigans that are used to keep people silent.

To be fair these allegations paint Louis as a creep / major weirdo, but not necessarily as a predator. I think if he owns up to it and apologizes to the people he has harmed, he can still salvage some kind of reputation. Maybe that's just wishful thinking :(

Either way he needs to respond. Either admit to the accusations, deny them, or admit to some and deny others, but he has to say something.
