It's hilarious, but I can't say I agree with it. I chuckled when it was like (paraphrasing) "We don't have the hard paychological data to make sweeping generalizations about generations before baby boomers". I thought that was hilarious.
I've always gone with the whole "It was the first generation that didn't have a large percentage of it's uneducated population die in a massive war, so their priorities might be out of whack from not having that perspective."
Like the reason they exist is because their fathers went through war and was like "holy shit this is bad. I just want to go somewhere where I can drink some beer and pump out a few babies" and the govenment gave the survivors the land to do it- and they could because some much of the population died.
