The Ecology of Freedom -
The Emergence and Dissolution of Hierarchy by Murray Bookchin
quote [ “The guy brings me to the back of the car and he goes: ‘Sir, I don’t know how to tell you this, but there’s a warrant out for your arrest from 2002. Apparently you rented a movie, Freddy Got Fingered, and you never returned it,’” Meyers said in the video, appearing dumbfounded.
The Concord police department confirmed the arrest in a statement on Thursday, saying the warrant was issued 28 February 2002 by the now closed video store and signed by a magistrate. ]
Sticking with the 'let's point out embarrassing North Carolina shit' North Carolina just passed a law blocking measures to protect LGBT people.
Ted Cruz has now been picked as is the Republican establishment candidate. Ted Cruz. These folks could fuck up the recipe for boiled water.

I'm still surprised Kasich wasn't chosen as the establishment candidate. He did the best job of pretending he could appeal to moderate voters, and could have been a swing-state threat, but he turned out to be the Invisible Man. Almost as surprising as Jeb!'s complete failure to launch.
In any other election Cruz would be the Tea Party outsider candidate, not the establishment pick.

In extended N.C. has just passed a law blocking local governments from passing anti-discrimination rules to grant protections to gay and transgender people, and the Republican establishment candidate is chosen.
