Where Do We Go From Here? -
Chaos or Community? Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. makes a plea for the future of humanity
quote [ Those who identify with the ?paradoxical voice? self-censor because they know they are going to get rocks thrown at them ? not by their enemies but by their friends. That?s not only a bad feeling; it?s a tendency that?s bad for democracy, for politics, and the wider movement we call the left. And the left ? in its compassion, freedom and concern for social justice ? is the only hope for the future of this country. ]

The cynic in me says:
Because the rift Nader created, caused the left to lose its only chance in the next 30 to 40 years or so to take The SCOTUS and gerrymandering lost congress and if the Left loses the presidency too then there effectively is no longer a "left" which- given how far right they've drifted anyway, probably doesn't even matter.
That said I'm eagerly looking forward to 2016.
