If you are an American, and you are just now coming to the realization that some crazy-ass shit is going down in the US of A, and that your country is no longer a democracy, well, in the words of John McLane.....
"Welcome to the Party, Pal."
The rest of the world- unencumbered by delusions of American Supremacy and blind faith in the systems laid down by the founders- have been watching it unfold for the past few years. And, to be honest, we're all pretty pissed about it.
Because, in all honesty, a large portion of you deserve it; you were actually convinced to vote against your own interests, and had your rights and protections systematically taken from you over the last 18 years out of fear and ignorance. And in that ignorance, you not only nodded dumbly and went along with it, but vigorously and voraciously defended your stupidity. Now that its entrenched and encouraged enough that things are beginning to happen in public without remorse or backlash, NOW you step up?
The USA is a terrorist attack or economic crisis away from coming apart at the seams, and LITERALLY a decade away from the beginnings of the unraveling of civilization as we know it, and all a majority of you do is drape yourselves in the flag, plus your ears, and scream "LA LA LA".
Americans can blame the government all they want, but the American people let this monster in- 15 years ago these people were a joke; a clown-car of buffoons laughed at and ridiculed by all but the dumbest and most ignorant; now they run your country, because you or your countrymen voted for them. You gave legitimacy to the most illegitimate bloc in your country.
