Funny you mention the Monk debate. Censors of your persuasion did their best to shut it down. Idiots brayed outside the room, one strident twat bellowed inside it (you perhaps) yet Frum and Bannon prevailed, and an audience of smart talented people were given benefit of two exceptional men engaging some of the critical issues of our time.
It’s funny, because the debate focused on a subject discussed on this site ad nauseum, with two people who actually knew what they were talking about. It would make a perfect post here, but I suspect if someone linked to it, rather than watching it, the hive mind would erase the link, least is soil their pristine ignorance.
Happily, in real life, the liberals won, and event went on. Bravo to the folks at the Monk debate, and the cops for protecting free speech. For those with a genuine interest in the rise of populism, you will find the exchange worth the 90 minutes invested:
