You and rhesusmonkey seem to be labouring under the misapprehension I want to talk about what kind of music I like. I never mentioned the subject, and can’t think of a more tedious conversation. I identified rap as cultural cancer. which is precisely what it is.
You know, this whole apologia for rap reeks of the soft bigotry of low expectations. Skittle Mouth here is the poster child for a suicidal culture that valorizes ignorance, misogyny and death. But hey, celebrate it all you want. It’s not your kids going to the morgue.
