Poll: Americans Don't Think Trump Is Tough Enough On Russia

quote [ Americans don't think President Trump has been tough enough on Russia, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll conducted after Trump's summit in Helsinki last week with Russian President Vladimir Putin. A majority (57 percent) also believes that Russia is likely to try to interfere in November's midterm elections. Most Republicans, however, side with Trump here, with 58 percent saying it's not very likely or not likely at all. Trump's favorability rating has improved over the past three months, up 4 points to 41 percent. That's largely due to the 88 percent of Republicans who are still firmly in his court — something the GOP hopes translates to enthusiasm at the ballot box come November. ]

85% of Republicans have confidence in Trump.

In Gallup's most recent analysis, 42 percent of Americans identify as independent, compared with 29 percent who say they are Democrats and 26 percent who say they are Republicans.

85% of 26 % = not enough to win

85% of 26 % = not enough to win. It is the same 20% they have always had.

If you take the Independent #'s it will be pretty close to the overall every time.

What I want to do is meet the 8% of Democrats who think there was no interference..?
