The trend from tepid toleration of ideological diversity, to its condemnation and suppression, is the zeitgeist. University campuses, once loudly proclaiming a commitment to free speech, now fight it at every turn. The aging ideologues on this site are just trying to keep up with the cool kids.
You're right that Peterson has a tonic for this predictable stripe of cultural marxism. Paying him some heed would lessen the aggrieved whine that hums off these pages with such irritating frequency.
