They "debate" until there is a point when there is no rebuttal (aka evidence/facts) and then disappear. Reappearing anew to flame on again. There are normal people here looking for some good, interesting debates and conversations - no need to engage with the intellectually dishonest.

In my experience this applies equally to the mindset of many of the people on this site. Like the "trolls" you cite, they have no interest in engaging with heterodox opinions, and blindly lash out with the designation "troll", when confronted with anything that challenges their myopic, and fragile, worldview.
