So, maybe I'm a dreamy-eyed lefty, but I don't actually think most of the "trolls" here are trolls. My understanding of a troll is that it's someone intentionally causing arguments, preferably between others, for the sake of pissing people off. I think most (but not all) of what we get is people either a) pushing an agenda, and/or b) some who's sense of self worth is strongly tied to their intelligence (I mean just look at the language used earlier in this post. It's trying so hard to sound as academic as possible), and like the idea of popping the SE left wing bubble.
To me these people aren't trolls. Some are. Maybe we should get a different label for those that aren't, but are trying to voice an opinion which disagrees with the majority view, but are doing it in a terrible way?
Then again I skip or skim a lot of the politics here at the monent, because I'm fucking, fucking, fucking sick of American politics.
