Really? A man who spent his career covering up sex offending priests and claiming that victims were liars, or asking for it, or needed to seek God's forgiveness was also a sex offender himself? Well, there was just no way to see that coming.

The least surprising news ever. This slimeball had every chance in the world to do the right thing when Australia was screaming out for transparency regarding the crimes committed by the church. Instead he used bribery, defamation, political clout and lawyers to cover it all up, so much so that we needed a goddamn motherfucking arsekicking Royal Commission to get to the bottom of it.
Can't dodge that, can you, fuckeroo? This should be an entertaining court case. The prosecutors must be pretty confident if they're bringing the head cheese back, I guarantee a shitload of his rock spider croneys are gonna get put away before this is all over too. |

It's pretty hard to presume innocence with clergy these days.
