I live in the midst of a city outside Los Angeles. Flat for miles around. Friday, my apartment flooded. NO ONE thought this kind of thing could happen, so no one was prepared. This is nuts.

I also live in this nonsense. I am enjoying it, but only because every local levy has problems except the ones surrounding us. We learned our lesson in the 90's.
