Okay, so, I've got a friend that told me that, on Japanese TV, there's basically no 7 deadly words like we have here. You can say pretty much whatever you want, and they won't bleep it, except if what you say is SO VILE that they have to bleep it. There IS an exception to that, and it's "manko" which means, literally, pussy. Not cat, but crude slang for vagina. They bleep that every time. That's why I like this woman. Japan is pretty cool like that. There's plenty of cursing (in english) in their music on the radio and in stores etc. The censor thing was from McArthur and I think the separation of sexes in the bathhouses might be too (I don't recall, but it's modern and I believe might be western influenced)
