Great Depression: 170,000 incredible images all mapped out

quote [ In the 1930s, the U.S. government sent photographers to all the states to capture America "at her most vulnerable." ]

I like how's it's mapped out. Allows you to easily see the different areas of the US at the time.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt's team wanted a record of what was going on -- and images of real lives and struggles to help rally support for his New Deal policies.

Over 170,000 images were taken between 1935 and 1946 such as this one of a family that didn't even have shelter at a camp in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Yale University and the Library of Congress have just made the entire collection available online on a site called Photogrammer.

Possible repost brought to my attention just now with... http://www.sensibleendowment.com/entry.php/3124 However I am currently out of new posting material and therefore will accept any punishment put upon me. (Pass the jelly please)

Sorry, the 'out of new posting material' excuse doesn't cut it, considering you can now just post a single YouTube video and label it a 'Quickie'.
