quote [ Derelict, a 2 1/2 hour black & white experiment that splices together both Prometheus with Alien into one film. ]
My evening's viewing is now sorted.

It can't be long before a torrent is available. I started watching this on my phone over the weekend, and now have to see the whole thing. I'll post the torrent link once I find it.

Is there some other place to catch it instead of a torrent?

The links I've found so far all point to the same dead source. But this is the internet; nothing is ever really dead, just like comic book characters.

Just found it on MEGA. Not sure what the rules are here so won't post a link but it's there - 1.8gb 720p.

I've never actually seen one, but it seems like these types of fan-edited movies are pretty popular these days, but they're always getting taken down for copyright violation. It seems like a possible workaround might be a specialized media player that loads one or more media files along with a set of editing instructions, i.e., "play this series of frames from movie A, then that series of frames from movie B." The editor would distribute just those instructions, which the viewer would load into their media player along with their own (wink, wink) legitimately obtained copies of the appropriate movies to be edited.

Oh yes, the infamous "laserdisc rip" version of the series; High-def, but not remastered.

I still maintain that Prometheus is a steaming pile of garbage. Glad this is down, kill it before it can grow.

And I still vandalize that opinion wherever I see somebody maintaining it.

Eh. David was cool, and it was very pretty overall. I'm equally ambivalent about it as I am about Jurassic World, which people seem to have a hard-on for.

I really did not like Prometheus but this sounds like it could have at least been interesting.
I hope a torrent pops up. |
