It wouldn’t be so bad if they built restaurants within a block or two of the Mall. When I’ve been to DC, there was always frustration over the lack of food and drink available on hot summer days. The food trucks are like the news stand at the airport. They are the only thing around and you’re gonna pay $5 for a can of Coke.
