I saw three dead fox squirrels between my house and the next. Not hit, nothing looked wrong with them. I suspect they may have gone to the road for warmth and their deaths are related to the cold. I didn't get an answer but I did find squirrel populations are way down from effects of weather.

Fortunately we don't have zombie deer disease here. Yet. We also don't have Lyme disease. Just rattlesnakes. All the species of rattlesnakes. You want snakes that maraca?? Come on down to Texas!
