i am guessing you mean the space politicians normally dance in, between what they have to promise to get elected, and what they have to do to effectively govern. I think this is is something different. I'm not sure how much is dysfunction and how much is purposeful and reinforced by the success it's given him. The success might be sort of a Sun Tzu thing "All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive.....". It also might be sort of a W.C. Fields thing "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.". Maybe the latter is just a more fun way to say the former. Maybe I need a drink...... Yeah that seems more likely...

I'm glad someone's keeping a count, but for me they're wasting their time. Trump believes everything that comes out of his mouth. Therefore I disbelieve everything that he says. Makes it easier for all concerned.
