Totally related unrelated here, but I met Shailene Woodley outside the old Ong King Music and Arts Center during the final event held there before the place moved. It was a huge party, people were packed like sardines inside, and I was running the soundboard for the performances. I needed a break and some air, so I grabbed a beer and a smoke and my then girlfriend and I rushed outside. I ran down the stairs, jumped the last 4 or 5 steps and landed hard on the sidewalk right in front of her as she and her entourage were walking up. I looked up at her, smiled, and welcomed them. She gave me a huge smile and said, "You look good in that dress." I laughed and thanked her. I didn't know who she was, but my girlfriend realized after they went inside. I thought about trying to chat her up but never found her again in the crowd that night. I had just filmed that climate change short documentary Carbon Negative a couple months earlier and wanted to give her the link to view it. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Well the guy has some kudos. Or do you mean the name? Because that name is mexican as fuck. Thats just slightly less mexican than a telenovela of Benito Juarez and the Blue Demon tag team fighting Catalina Creel possessed by the spirit of Mictlāntēcutli. But only just.

Not the name. I just find him annoying.

And when it comes to climate change I want to hear foremost from scientists, office holders, and business owners. People with power to make a change now.

Also, I just find him annoying. Did I mention that?

Because he is a curious creature native to Mexico. It is best known in its cartoon form as a “Mudkip” in the Pokemon series. It is a type of salamander that does not complete its development in the adult phase – it stays a larva and never grows up.
