The Flash Games Postmortem

quote [ This talk will attempt to encapsulate the immense history of Flash games and how it has shaped the current game industry. This is as much a story about how Flash lived, rather than how Flash has (maybe) finally died. ]

Very interesting talk about creative and economic history of Flash games.

In other news …

– anyone not yet having heard about the MS Github aquisition?

If you need more good time killers for internet history check out Ludodrome's A Brief History Of... playlist, and the Ahoy channel on you tube.

Many years ago, I figured out how to download the Gunmaster Onslaught 2.0 .swf and run it locally. I still play it now and then.
