That was interesting to read. I'm just finishing up the article when suddenly, it turns German.
It also didn't specify which processors were hurt. Did they mean coffeelake? I wish it was a bit more specific. |

I guess it's a German portal that came up with it exclusively and hastily posted an English translation.
While the bugs are not yet published, the article is all about what has leaked already which seems to be the number of issues and their severity. |

The longer this goes on, the more apparent it becomes that speculative execution is inherently unsecure. And that's a shame, because speculative execution is a big part of modern processor performance.
