US astronaut John Young dies aged 87

Oh piss.

It’s kind of a shame to see these guys dying in their mid 80s given how conditioned (I assume) they were. You think they’d be living until their early 200s. :p

If anybody has the chance, pick up the book Endurance: A year in space a lifetime of discovery by Scott kelly. Its a great read and gives a good in depth view of what tolls an astronaut goes through.
