I loved his appearance on "Malcolm In The Middle" as a former teen heartthrob that Lois had a crush on. He played the part perfectly and with grace. A great moment of self parody that made me respect him a lot more.

Yeah, in hindsight Cassidy's early career was probably the worst thing that could have happened to him. I felt bad for the guy on several recent occasions, you could see he was trying.
ProTip for "normal" people: Don't stomp on your kids' showbiz dreams just because it's a statistical certainty they won't make it. Stomp on those dreams because the showbiz industry is a goddamn soul-eating disease whether you make it or not. |
